The Nihilist spoke:
Humanity is monstrous. It greedily desires, fights needlessly, and takes more than it needs. It destroys and contaminates nature. In fact, humanity holds itself above nature. It believes nature to be ugly and disgusting. They even look down on natural human behavior.
Humanity convinced itself that it must have been the product of a God. This God was their father and put them at the center of the universe. They believed that everything had been made for them. Oh sure, they paid lip service to nature by calling it mother. But this was not because they particularly loved it. It was because they were sure it served them. They were wrong.
With the advance of science and a series of devastating wars they could no longer believe in their God/Father or any of their other lofty ideals. Their proponents were labeled as hypocrites and removed from positions of authority. Mankind asked 'Why?' but could only hear the echo of its own voice.
Life became Absurd.
Their God/Father was gone or at least castrated and so were their ideals but desire still remained. They turned toward mother.
This was going to be good.
No. This was going to feel good.
Does it surprise anyone that while the word fuck had been around for hundreds of years it only started taking on many and various grammatical uses after World War 2? They fucked the fucking fucker thinking it was clever the entire time.
Global Capitalism exploded.
But some still searched for foundations and finally found them in nature. They finally saw that nature was something that needed to be protected and respected. They tried to accept their bodies once more. They wanted us to return to a bodily way of existence. They saw that all this time we had been arrogant and thought we were the highest beings in nature. We had, in fact, become the lowest.
Perhaps we had been more insightful about ourselves in earlier times. Previously we thought we had found the foundation of our bodies and called it the fundament. It was the part necessarily fundamental for the existence of everything else. Today it is called the anus.
We only need to look at our poisonous contaminating existence to put two and two together. Beings as monstrous as us may have come from Mother Nature, but we must have surely come from her anus. She shitted us out. This was our virgin birth. Mother Nature gave birth to thinking shit.
Could this in turn be a sign of Nature's contempt for itself? It could no longer keep inside its dark brown secrets. It turned its violence toward itself and tried to move beyond. Maybe all that is left for us is the attempt to create and move beyond. But how could we repair something so flawed to the core? Wouldn't the means to control produce more of the same?
No, shit is not something you fix, and neither is humanity.
There is only one solution to this problem.
Nature demands it.
Humanity must be flushed down the toilet.
'But,' responded the Philosopher, 'Why did you think Mother Nature gave a shit in the first place?'
The Nihilist thought; and was silent.
